This is such a full circle moment for me. If you know me personally, you’d know how much I’ve always wanted this. As a young boy on the streets of Alaba, I once watched someone I looked up to receive this and quietly said to myself, one day - I’ll do the same. To put this in perspective, this moment feels like winning a Grammy as a musician, not just because of the validation, but because of what it represents cause where I come from, you can only imagine standing on stages like this and accepting awards like this. This is a reminder that with God, hard work, consistency and rawwwww talent, the sky is only the beginning. Late 2024, I themed 2025 “My Year of Returns” and this right here is the confirmation that the revelation was real.
