really happy to share a mix I compiled will be aired today on @worldwide.fm x @the_artform_studio 12pst! I was invited by talented DJ and journalist @melisduenas to guest on her show! thank you soooo much Meli for this opportunity! I was inspired to go back to music that initially motivated me to go into DJing and collecting records. This all vinyl mix reminds me of why I care so much to center underrepresented experiences, especially those of immigrant, Black and Brown people. Records are more than just music but also visions, expressions and intentions. The tracks are uplifting, funky, disco-y, range within the 70s-80s and come from Latin America and Africa.
