It’s never just about the bike show, there are so many more moving parts. Late nights in the shop, bloody hands, grease stained sheets, songs on repeat,....balancing obsession while nearing insanity. Will you grenade your relationship with loved ones, will there be enough money to eat when monday comes around. Will this art that moves at 80mph down the freeway shake it self loose, has my last marble finally rolled into the gutter? For some it’s a competition, for others it’s a personal challenge, and of course for others it’s a party. All valid. The buildup, the bang, the release, a moment of clarity, and then the come down. A hug, a cold beer,admiration, jealousy, inspiration... these things sun baked and tucked into shirt pockets. Personally I wanted to thank everybody that came by and supported our little 4Q pagoda. Thank you @bornfreeshow show for having us, we had a blast. I added a couple photos.... one of Jerimiah @love_cycles and I starting and riding Tom Fugles bike. It’s heavy for us because we love Tom and miss him so much. Lots of memories of being with him at this show. Also I included two pictures of the two bikes I painted for the show, the blue one @metallhaus and orange one for @rawhidecycles. Both which won awards. Stoked for you both. #4qconditioning
