nothing I find more cringe than the “hi new friends!” posts but here I am making one bc been getting a lot of questions recently - time to get to know me! ✨I’m Alexis, I’m 23 and have lived in Brooklyn for a year now! ✨I’m originally from St. Louis where I went to a nearby boarding school for 6 years before going to Northwestern University where I studied Political Science ✨I originally wanted to be a journalist or a lawyer, but I interned at a jewelry company and in consulting and learned about business through a career program ended up as an Associate Product Marketing Manager for Google after graduating college in 2020 ✨ after a year in marketing, I made an internal transfer to YouTube to work on Shorts content strategy and I love it! ✨I’m the oldest of 8 kids and 29 grandkids, and my mom had me at 16 so we’re pretty close in age ✨I love astrology and I’m a Sag Sun, Aries Rising, Leo Moon and Sag Stellium (Venus and Mercury) too! ✨I got started in content creation after some tough disordered eating drama, and so embracing my body is a constant struggle so I like to share my coping mechanisms which include shopping...a lot ✨I have a podcast @urtoosmartforthis where I interview women from all walks of life and share my self-love journey and I just recorded my last episode for awhile!
