Heel ‘lappet’ detail - the layering of this was quite complex to execute - after some back and forth, @otto_chr & @philooww suggested moulding the back section leaning outwards, and then repositioning and attaching it to the internal bootie after lasting. Creating a more nuanced layering system within a single mould can be complicated, but if executed correctly adds a much more intricate and tactile design detail imo, it was also a way to create more connectivity/synergy between the inner bootie and the outer midsole. 📸 @johnchxn #mrbailey #adidasoriginals
