We’re back with another new command you can teach your pup! Today we are teaching the command “sit.” Start by holding a treat in front of your dog’s nose, then slowly raise it above his head. Your dog’s bottom should start to go down as he looks up at the treat. As his bottom hits the ground, mark the behavior and reward. Repeat these steps and add the cue “sit.”
