LOTS of history in this picture right here. Was so great seeing my brother for life @darealgregnice at our Atlanta show last night. Greg is not only a great person but a true legend that can out rock almost anyone on a stage, to this day. Was my first time meeting the legendary @swiffman1 , he is the DJ for Outkast & Killer Mike. Real down to earth dude. To my right is (in my opinion) the most underrated producer in the history of Hip Hop. The incredible @djprincepaul I know I embarrassed him but he deserved it lol. I started to praise him in a room of people & I know he was uncomfortable taking his flowers, as most of us are, BUT he truly deserves all the praise & 💐! Stetsasonic, De La Soul, Gravediggaz, 3rd Bass, Native Tongue, BDP & The List goes on. I told him that when he did the De La Soul “3 Feet High” album that he not only created a bridge that connected Hip Hop lovers with Rock, Pop, Folk music lovers but he also opened the floodgates for DJs (like me) to be able to incorporate other genres of music with Hip Hop cuz that’s how he produced music. A very important thing. I say underrated because I don’t think he gets the love he deserves. He definitely gets respect & praise but it’s not on the level it should be, again, in my opinion. @djaveenyc I told him that you’ve been trying to connect us for awhile so now that that part is done, we will make some work happen! I never know who I will see whenever I do a show with @russellpeters but I’m glad I got the chance to connect with these legends & more importantly, I’m glad I got to give 💐 to them while they are still with us. Also very important.
