Happy Mother’s Day to all of the hardworking, inspirational moms out there. The best advice that I received from my mother is "find a career that you love, because you will likely spend most of your time doing it." My mom grew up in time where women could only be secretaries, nurses or teachers. She hated being a secretary and knew that I would have many more opportunities than she did. I'm glad that I followed her advice, because I love practicing dermatology. I give my kids the same advice, to find a career that they will love doing everyday.
