For London Design Week - we introduce 'Jelly Salad', a CF Editions rug by @bethanlaurawood. Come and visit us next week at the Christopher Farr studio space in East London: 18 Calvin Street, E1 6HF, part of @ShoreditchDT⁠ @l_d_f_official⁠ .⁠ Tues 20th - Sat 24th Sept, 10:00 - 18:00.⁠ .⁠ Made using the hooked rug technique, and measuring 1.2 x 1.8m, the rug design will be available in two colourways, lime jelly and lemon jelly. Wood was inspired by the American roots of the technique and the fact the cut fabric curls reminded Bethan so much of sliced cabbage, she delved into her library of drawings, photographs connected to food presentation and found the world of the ‘Jell-o Salad’ a fantastic companion.
