The highlight of my year. Back in August. Enjoying a sunset in Durban, South Africa. Just peaceful. There is nothing like finding peace away from the injustice, the violence, the envy, the dispossession, the deprivation, the denial that I study or face each day. Getting away to come back more resolute and focused as a scholar. I am now finding sunsets everywhere, in the most unsuspecting places and spaces. From a smile to a hug to a prayer to a tune.
