"Coming to the decision to shoot the video on 16mm wasn’t as straight forward as one might think. Since we based the concept of the video on slow-flowing, highly aesthetic shots exclusively drenched in artificial light, we had to shoot at night. Low light situations knowingly give rise to some issues when shooting on 16mm. At the end of the day we still decided to go with it because we felt as if the unique look and structure of the optic outweighs the potential issues. The end product is enough reassurance to shoot on 16mm for the rest of our lives.
