Ok so you know how Galadriel has that voiceover in the opening of Lord of the Rings where she’s like, “The world is changed / I feel it in the water / I feel it in the earth”? THAT is literally the voice I hear when I think about the potentially historic, world-changing climate legislation that is moving through the Senate *right now.* After so many stops and starts, the Inflation Reduction Act of 2022 is the bill we didn’t think we’d get, but that we need! Call your reps, and then (hopefully) celebrate the wins while also acknowledging the compromises! Otherwise I may just have to keep doom-posting on here with chaotic references to Lord of the Rings! 🧝‍♀️✌️🌏
