Language matters so much for young children. It still frustrates me when my parents in these moments would IMMEDIATELY say "You are okay. You arent hurt. Dont cry". It denies the childs reality that something happened that scared them. So instead I ASK him if he is okay? Did you notice he answered "Okay" at the end?
