it has been almost 3 months since the last time i got to pet my sweet abby. over the past 3 months i’ve wondered when is it going to get easier, and it just hasn’t quite yet.i will say though, it keeps my heart warm knowing that abby is chasing all the tennis balls and playing endless tug a war pain free and at peace. i sure do miss her. these pictures were all from our last day with her. we spent all day loving on her extra and doing all of her favorite things from swimming, to going to the dog park to get a last sniff, to eating 3 cookout trays full of her favorite food, to sending her off to the rainbow bridge with plenty of hershey kisses. the sun still shines in on her favorite spot in the house every morning and it is always such a bittersweet moment knowing she is still with me in a way keeping an eye on me and a paw on my broken heart. i know she is filled with plenty of joy at the rainbow bridge and sending us down so much love from up above. i love you abby ❤️🪽🌈
