crown the diva there’s nothin to it, VOGUE! • • • When I came up for the idea for this finale alongside @theonlyastra and @moxie.angel , I wanted to focus on Connecticut drag and how it has played such a huge role in my development as an artist and a human being in general. Coming into the scene last year, I was quite reserved and found it hard to use my voice, yet through the support of my Haus and my sisters, I have come to know so many talented artists and performers. I choreographed this routine to highlight the joy that performing brings to my life, as like many performers, I am most alive when I’m on stage dancing. @moxie.angel and @theonlyastra , thank you for helping me write the verse to highlight our community and dealing with my stressed-out a$$ for the past few weeks. And finally, in addition to my catsuit, @miaezlay crafted the beautiful robe you see in the beginning of my perfomance. I was inspired by @ladygaga in the “Tamara” interlude from the Chromatica Ball for the robe and matching headpiece.
