Stage 1 was a workshop series taking place in UAL between February and May 2022. The workshops are aimed at helping people overcome feelings of nihilism and apathy in relation to social change and the climate crisis, and empowering a critical narrative of hope and optimism in relation to these topics. Future workshops will seek to engage a more diverse range of participants, in particular reaching out to disadvantaged communities, so as to challenge the demographics of who currently gets to shape the future. These collaborative manifestos represent a collective and plural discourse of radical visions of possible futures.
