Please bare with as this is a caption I’ll remember for a lifetime. Life has been so up and down that I actually don’t even know how I got here. Some may know my story and others don’t, but, growing up wasn’t exactly a walk in the park for me. As much as I love my family, I saw things no child should of seen and experienced things no teenager should ever have to go through. One day I guess I’ll open up more about those events, but for now, just know it wasn’t easy. Having nowhere to live at 18 years old and sharing a bed with a friend / crashing at my ex boyfriends house and waitressing whilst studying for my law degree, you could say life was a blessing... but like everyone.... Life was hard. I never in a million years imagined having the opportunity to build the community we have built today and I never imaged building the brand me and my team have built and will continue to build. After seeing thousands people this weekend for our first ever @oneractive pop up event smiling, sharing stories, feeling at home and truly loved.... It made me realise how absolutely no one’s negative opinion, no hurdle or no self doubt will ever be to big to overcome, because, nothing will ever compare to this dream of mine to make ALL feel extraordinary in performance and day to day life. I hope to anyone reading this you never think “it’s too late” you never assume “this pain will never end” and I hope you know... your journey has so much light, energy and bliss coming your way.
