SUBLIME, our in-house cafe at Again Vintage, now makes our own plant mylks ! We are officially seed-oil free in all of our food and beverage offerings ! Knowledge about the toxicity of certain types of processed seed oils has been on the rise— in our current food system, nearly every boxed/packaged food that you consume contains seed oil and when consumed this frequently, they can increase oxidative stress and inflammation in our bodies and expose us to harmful byproducts through their chemical extraction process. Unfortunately most of our favorite brands of oat + nut mylk have seed oils, fillers, processed sugar, and additives which contribute to a wide range of gut & hormonal health issues. We didn’t feel right about serving our locally-roasted coffee and adaptogenic herbal Plant Potions without fresh mylks, so we invested the time and energy into making it happen. For every beverage, you can now choose between our housemade oat, almond, or pistachio mylk. They froth and foam deliciously.
