Sometimes you’re not going to get an apology you feel you’re owed. When that happens the lesson isn’t in forgiving them, the lesson is for you to put yourself first, find the nature of that pain they caused you, and have radical acceptance in that pain as what it was and needed to happen in order for you to grow more in depth of who you are and wanting to become.
