Today’s episode: sashiko hand stitching Had so much fun doing this traditional Japanese technique originally used to mend and strengthen fabric. I went to to a sashiko workshop hosted by @Everlane x @Merica Lee Jeans , and didn’t expect it to feel this grounding. Just stitching slowly, focusing on one thing at a time, letting it be imperfect. I worked on a small piece that I’ll be adding to my denim pocket later - functional, personal, and made by hand.
