Over the last three weeks our teams from @kilnsoho, @smokinggoatbar & both @bratrestaurant and Brat x Climpsons Arch have had the opportunity to visit our dear friend Philippe at @piloudelapetitebanguinese. This year we are making a new cuvée together - a Grenache that is lightly foot crushed by a mix of all three pick teams. It’s left on then skins for a few days and then transferred into stainless for elevage. We’ll head back out next year to bottle it all and we’ll take around 4K bottles into all restaurants, keep your eyes peeled! On a more personal note... It’s always such a great experience when we go to France picking grapes from the early hours until early afternoon then spending the rest of our day as a team wild swimming, cooking together and building the genuine friendships that so many of us have. Bottling wines, planting seeds, harvesting fruit, vegetables for our meals together and the chillies that Philippe grows for our restaurants. There’s nothing quite like it and we’re all incredibly lucky to have cultivated relationships like these which give us the opportunity to do pretty special trips company wide. Such a massive thank you to @aubert_gee from @ancestrelwines, we wouldn’t be able to do this without you and you truly make it special for everyone involved. We’re always looking for new team members to join our restaurants and have these similar opportunities, any level of experience is welcomed and we’re a pretty friendly bunch.
