This week is my first and only week of annual leave this year and I’m still going into work on Friday/sat 🤦🏻‍♂️ Im not glamourising working like this in anyway. It’s actually been quite bad mental health wise. But I took on a lot this year. And unfortunately I felt I had to “keep going”. This weekend with my best friends and the rest of the week to spend at home and with the puppy and relaxing has done me nothing but good, I already feel refreshed and ready to get back to work. I took sometime away from Instagram too (hair account) and tell you especially with all this shit going on with peoples posts etc it was well needed too. Putting effort into content and it going no where makes you feel like what’s the point but just having this time off has got my attitude back. Who gives a shit? Instagram can be deleted tomorrow. And what was it for ? Point of the story... spend time with your mates and have a laugh. Life’s too short to make your whole life about an app on your phone and working like a dog to prove to people you deserve what you have. Also if you get the chance to go to @brightonprideofficial you absolutely MUST. I have never felt so proud, safe and happy in my own skin than this weekend.
