I went to @farmaid expecting music and good vibes & left with a deep understanding of how our food system shapes EVERYTHING. From corporate consolidation to climate change to health, the common thread is clear: when power is concentrated, people and communities pay the price.  But here’s the good news → SOLUTIONS ALREADY EXIST, and every one of us has a role to play. 🌱  I’ve been in sustainability for over a decade, and still, sitting down with farmers shifted my perspective. It’s one thing to talk about climate change in theory, it’s another to hear how it shows up in someone’s soil, water, or paycheck. Their livelihood. At a moment when everything feels scary & divided it was so refreshing to realize A LOT of people care and soooo many people are doing something about it!
