Our relatives are subjected to overt and systemic violence throughout the healthcare system - this impacts EVERY SINGLE aspect of our lives, from pregnancy to birth to overall life expectancy. Lovelace has already overtly discriminated against Indigenous families, separating Native parents from their newborns in 2020; how can we expect or trust that an institution like that respects its patients or is capable of providing quality healthcare if they have supported or continue to support crisis pregnancy centers? CPCs spread medical misinformation and dissuade pregnant people looking for answers and care regarding their pregnancy.
