The Center for Puerto Rican Studies at Hunter College (CENTRO), in partnership with Ponce Bank (@poncebank), is calling on artists to present research proposals, using CENTRO’s Library and Archives, that will inform their creative processes. Artists have been instrumental in the creation of the Puerto Rican identity, the understanding of our realities and the reimagination of our future. It is for that reason that, each semester, we aim to provide an Artistic Research Residency whose creative results are informed by doing research at CENTRO.
