I could not be more excited about shooting my first @netflix project. I am grateful to @kgravs + @campproductions for advocating for me to be selected to shoot the gallery for @tylerperry #ajazzmansblues I recently saw a screening of this film thanks to @jameswardiii, and it is a beautiful movie. What was even more impactful to me was the story of creating this film. This film was written 27yrs ago. To have the patience, to wait that long to make something. The perseverance to overcome the challenges and roadblocks that happen and push through them all to see what you dreamed of come to life is powerful. Mr. Perry's focus and ability to ignore all the noise is a life lesson I am working to embody.
