I am SICK of nobody being held accountable for the alarming rate of trans people taking their own lives. I blame our government. I blame the media. I blame the gender identity clinics. I blame the TERF’s. I blame JK. I blame men. I blame the people on the streets who laugh at us. I blame EVERYBODY who turns a blind eye to the trans people who are crying out for help. Somebody needs to step up and CHANGE things. We NEED better healthcare (abolish the GIC’s) We NEED trans education in schools. We need media outlets to stop relentlessly posting transphobia. For crying out loud, we even need to be able to PEE without fear of persecution. We need for trans people to be able to live lives decent enough that they’re not thinking about checking out at such young ages. We need formative CHANGE and we NEED it now.
