Just after @alexgreycosm and I realized we belonged together, at ages 21 and 23, we set to work building our first loft. In a empty raw floor of a sweat shop building, we erected walls, a bedroom, kitchen and bath, all while living there and sleeping on the floor. Our first space together was built while building our brand new relationship. After building the interior, we shared the studio, took psychonautic journeys together, collaborated on performances and art installations. We made our own art and worked manifested visions together. Co-creating as well as maintaining our own personal visions, each altruistically contributing an aesthetic view to the other, we could make a greater offering than may have been possible alone.⠀ ⠀ When two forces unite in love a spiritual bridge opens to divine wisdom and guidance. We call this power the “Third Force,” a potency that shifts a relationship into a transformative path. The angelic guidance of love put us together to build sacred space with community, to accomplish something greater than we may have conceived on our own. Building a temple is the work of a community of creative, talented beings inspired to a higher calling.⠀ ⠀ Karma yoga means right action in service to the divine. Building a temple is a classic act of karma yoga, devotion that delights the soul and is passed on to others. ⠀ Alex once heard a voice that said, " Humanity hungers for a righteous task." A righteous task would be taking action for the benefit and liberation of all beings.
