My photos made it to @voguephilippines for their feature on @rubyibarra 😭🧡🇵🇭!!! @voguemagazine I still can’t believe it 🥹 Ruby is such an incredibly talented and inspiring artist that I’ve looked up to for years now and she’s a huge inspiration to my photography and the cultural work that I do today. It feels like just yesterday where I had hit her up back in 2018 to headline Kultura Festival, the biggest Filipino food, + arts fest in Chicago back then. 6 years later I’m photographing on set for her new single BAKUNAWA while she’s preggo with her first baby, and now we’re on VOGUE. 🥹 Not to mention she is literally the most kind-hearted, genuine, and silliest being that does so much for our culture and community 🇵🇭🙌🏽 & deserves all of the love and recognition!!!
