My father, sculptor Aristides Demetrios (1932-2021). He died a year ago today--December 12. This is an excerpt from a movie I made almost 40 years ago about him. I didn't watch the movie much in the intervening years--but now I am grateful I captured not just my Dad at that age, but my bond and feeling for him at that time. Passing years thwart few things more than they thwart our ability to see things just as we once saw them. So grateful we were with him at the end.
