LONDON. There are 7,100 of you registered to come to what will be a defining moment in this movement. I’m so ruddy excited to March through the streets with you all on Saturday. We will gather from 10.30am on Trafalgar Square. There will be a couple of face painters to give you a spruce up should you need one. The air horn will sound at 11am, followed by the sweet music of our samba band, and we are off!! @_laurencurrie_ will be leading the chants as we wiggle our way down Whitehall. There will be a brief pause at Downing Street so we can ensure @rishisunakmp hears us roar and then we head to Parliament Square. Please be warned that it was a bit boggy last weekend so bring appropriate footwear, though the weather forecast for Saturday is looking pretty hopeful so far! When we arrive, there will be a performance by @mumsingchoir and then we will hear speeches from @katequilton @kelechnekoff @sophiewalker_official @bronaghwaugh @mandureid @shaistagohir of @muslimwomensnetworkuk. Of course, the glorious @chimamanda_adichie will also be there, as well as @laura_bates__ @stellacreasy @munira.wilson @mamastillgotit_ @ashleylouisejames @iamalisonperry @sandeeigwe @fivexmore_ @mffonline_ and many more.
