DAY 28 (3 of 3): *Healing - My journey consist of having a safety plan, noticing my triggers (not eating, not sleeping, not getting out of bed, avoiding people) and reaching to the people on my safety plan. *Exercising - I trained for the NYC Marathon and ran for my life. This was the most personal race I ever ran. I had to get medical clearance from my neurologist, gynecologist and orthopedic doctors. I had to promise to listen to my body and I did. There was no going back to when I first started running. I was in much better shape then.
