today marks a year since i lost my dad.. still doesn’t feel real to be honest. everyday is new and i never know what random things in the world will remind me of him and my mom. it’s crazy because today i got separate calls from two of my friends, both of who’s dads have also passed away.. neither of them knew that today marked a year to the day that my dad transitioned but something in their hearts told them to hit me. it felt like my pops was sending a gentle reminder letting me know he’s watching. love you dad. thank you for all the life lessons you instilled in me. i use them on every part of the journey. keep watching over me. miss you man.
