We’ve been long admires of her work and how she built Fat & Flour the last few years. When approached about flavor ideas, Nicole was quick to suggest an all time favorite combo of hers. Rhubarb pie was a standout from her cookbook for its bright and tangy sweetness. The pink starburst like flavor made too much sense for an ice cream. To start, we combined this incredibly floral pink Rhubarb together with a touch of fresh blood orange. A candy like swirl of rhubarb gets folded in along with Nicole’s vegan pie crust, coated with cinnamon and sugar throughout. It’s a whimsically sweet treat, not to be missed.
