I mean, who really enjoys drinking at home? Sure, there are all these great RTDs out now and I have a full liquor cabinet(s) but nothing beats drinking outside, especially when it’s at a tropical bar with an outdoor patio and happy hour prices all night long. 🥳 I had gone to @hulastiki on previous trips to Monterey but didn’t know they had a dog-friendly outdoor patio out back (it’s ok to walk through the restaurant with your dog to get there). And Tuesdays here are Tiki Tuesdays where it’s happy hour through close! There was actually a line down the street waiting for the place to open at 4! Happy hour means some pupus like ceviche, wings, and spicy edamame are $7. Their 14 tiki drinks are also $7 ($14 double). They’ve got the Zombie, Painkiller, Mai Tai, Blue Hawaiian and more. Only thing is that most drinks are served in Hurricane glasses and generic tiki mugs. 🤷🏽‍♀️ I had the Zombie, Dr. Funk, and Hula’s Hurricane. All well-balanced and potent.
