-Week In Review- This week has been a busy and exciting week for RYC! Monday, we had our first in-person meeting to select and vote for Riverside’s 25 Most Remarkable Teens — our first time being back in-person after being virtual most of the year! Wednesday was our annual Mock City Council meeting, where we deliberated an RYC proposal to create a crisis-intervention team within RPD. This has been the culmination of months of preparation by our members and team, and we were very excited to get the first-hand experience of city-governance. And Saturday was our annual Youth Summit! Also a months-long project, this leadership summit was a fun experience to connect with Riverside Youth and foster team-building, life-preparedness, and civic success. A special shout-out to all the incredible students who joined our summit!
