how to resist the urge to buy fast fashion... even when they tempt you with the prettiest clothes🙅🏾‍♀️ (and how not to end up with fast fashion brands in your trolley ... pun fully intended😂😇) 1) unfollow them on IG and remove web page bookmarks! : an easy hack to remove them from your life lol😅 Unfollowing & deleting those bookmarks makes it so much easier to avoid checking their new releases!🙌🏾 2) ALWAYS check second-hand sites first: £2.7 billion is spent on summer outfits worn ONCE each year, so the piece you might have your eye on will probably already be available, or soon available, second hand💚 3) ask yourself, is it just good marketing?: from experience, when I have bought fast fashion in the past it has been an impulse buy because of an ad I saw or some cool pics! ask yourself do you ACTUALLY want/need it or is it just another impulse buy 😅 if you can, try to look for alternatives to fast fashion second-hand or from sustainable and ethical brands and use fast fashion as a last resort! ✨ it is so important to remember that being able to choose to shop sustainably is a privilege as there are many many people who have no choice but to buy fast fashion or shop second-hand out of necessity. which tip is your new go-to?
