In an abundance of flowers, “Awakening” invites you to reflect on the beauty and fragility of nature. Experience Rebecca Louise Law’s awe-inspiring, immersive installation opening September 17 at HoMA.
As we speak, community hands are collecting, donating, and stringing flowers from O‘ahu together with Law’s own reused collection of more than one million pieces of natural material, allowing the artist to construct a one-of-a-kind contemplative space that places nature at the forefront.
Gain early access to the exhibition and hear from the artist herself at Awakening, A Conversation with Artist Rebecca Louise Law on Sep 16. This evening talk in Doris Duke Theatre will be preceded by a day of programming to explore new exhibitions, enjoy live entertainment, food, and beverages at the museum. Seats are limited; reserve yours at the link in bio (included with admission).
