It’s so crazy to be featured by @adweek today. Not bc I am new to this or don’t feel worthy, but bc I had honestly given up.I had lost any motivation I had to run an agency,a juice company, produce events or quite honestly, get out of bed. Exactly 2months ago on the 15th of July I had been on maternity leave for 7 months, ran through all my savings &sold off my investments to continue payments on my mortgage and cars and truly felt like I had nothing. I knew it was time for me to snap out of it and get back out there so I forced myself to go to every swim week event I was invited to in an effort to kick the depression &get back to the bag. I was on a mission to get in front of brands again & build the agency back up.I had zero clients &zero employees at the time and I hadn’t been away from my daughter 4longer than a few hours. I got a nanny,networked my ass off that weekend &pumped in between events. It felt like I was 23 again,building a foundation from the ground up- working with scraps &making magic happen. I was hungry and focused but this time, i was wiser &knew exactly what I wanted and more importantly,what I didn’t want. This time I knew how to set boundaries,hold myself accountable and lead with love. I am proud to say that in the last 60 days I have produced new samples for YesJuice,launched a weekly dinner party, hosted rolling loud live stream & have taken on 7 new clients at @1amcreative which is back up & running + now has 4 full time employees again 🥹🙌🏼🙏🏼 I am also soooo proud of the fact that I am writing this to you guys at 6am & have been up early attacking my days at this time for the past few months now-being a morning person who works while others sleep has been a lifelong goal of mine that I never imagined I’d actually achieve. I say all of this to say ANYTHING YOU CAN DREAM OF IS ATTAINABLE!! You are going to fall,GET BACK UP!! Even if you have to lay down for a while, that’s ok!! Life happens FOR us, not TO us.Sometimes it hurts but in the end, it is always beautiful in hindsight.
