Among the things I miss most about teaching elementary school is that children speak full truths, before they’re taught otherwise. That seemingly fully developed adults hide comfortably behind mistruths and advocate responsibility when contributing to harm is fowl. So we’re clear EVERYTHING is political, especially in a country where there has never been a separation between church and state (religion was bastardized and used to justify transatlantic enslavement).
