Turkish musician and artist @masisgozbek rededicated this moving video he originally made in 2015 to Amini while thousands of Iranians took to the streets in protest across the country Tuesday night, chanting “Women, life, freedom” as women removed their headscarves, sometimes burning them and even chopping off their hair (watch to the end for a snippet of protest coverage from @CNN). In response, the regime has shut down the internet nationwide.
