Life is the sweet balance that exists between the moments when we only seem to see in black & white and those moments when life can be appreciated in full color. . Today was one of those dreadful mornings when I knew I needed to move my body more than anything in this world and shake stagnant energy; yet still, my mind tried to convince me of anything it could to make me stay in bed a little longer. “It’s thundering” “weather app says there’s 50% chance of rain” “there’s always tomorrow” “5 more minutes please” . I pushed through those thoughts knowing that usually, darkness reveals something truly beautiful at the end of the storm. . Sure enough, it was the case! I caught the most magical sunrise 🌅 and showed up for myself once again on my yoga mat today. . I always tell my students.. the hardest part is showing up. So keep showing up for yourself, day after day, struggle after struggle. .
