This year I was able to do my favorite job, the one I am most proud of and most honored to do... being @davinlawson mom. I clapped, I cheered, I lost my voice. 8 years of watching you bless that stage and this was the first time I could ever cheer for you..it felt so damn good. I am blessed to play the role that I do in the industry and community though it has come at a price for my son when distance and silence was needed to maintain professionalism. Yet he has always supported my work, offered understanding and for that I am grateful..but, man, did it feel good to lose my voice for his art. It was one heck of an emotional roller coaster and I soaked up every minute.
