When I think about the shows we watched growing up and how insane the Eurocentric beauty standards were, it blows my mind. There were SO many clips I could pull from my childhood but these were a few that really stood out to me. The Victoria’s secret show in particular always made me feel like I was “not enough”. I think it’s important for us with the shows me watch and the what we consume on social media to be in control. We get to choose who to follow. If someone makes you feel horrible about yourself constantly, unfollow them. You are in control of what you consume; change the channel if you need to.
