A couple of days ago I got back from my first solo backpacking trip. Just a short trip..a few days and a couple nights but wow, when was the last time I was in complete solitude and silence for that long....never And it’s a powerful experience. 20 miles, no other humans. Just me, the mountains, and the critters. A beautiful balanced dose of fear and freedom. A momentary shedding away of the distractions in my daily life for a chance to remember.... Things take time... The landscape of my mind is a wild mysterious place that I value deeply and love to explore... In witnessing nature, I can learn so much about how to show up in the world... Getting to know and acknowledge yourself is a powerful gift... I am not one thing....I am always subtly changing and so is everything else... ...mosquitos don’t give a fuck And my understanding of these concepts will grow, flower, wilt, die, and be reborn into news ways of viewing the world cause my seasons act just like our mama Earth. And I’m here for it. And I will continue trying to be more HERE for it. ✨🌿✨🌿✨🌿✨
