This is my scuba love story. I've been diving since 2013 but it was only in 2018 that I started to get seriously into it. After having my heart broken, I decided to go back to diving as a way to escape the pain that I was feeling. 💔 I kept diving and diving, until one day, I realized that my heart was no longer longing for the man that broke my heart. And it was because I was longing more and more for the ocean instead. 🌊 Every time I went diving, it was as if the ocean had taken my tears and combined it with its own salty water. It gently reminded me that this pain I was feeling was just a tiny drop in the greater scheme of things.💧 The ocean and scuba diving opened up my eyes and my heart to all the wonderful possibilities ahead of me. It reminded me of how to feel good about life and how to laugh again. 🥰 I will forever be grateful to the ocean that healed my broken heart. And for teaching me how to fall in love again in the most unexpected ways. With places. With people. With experiences. And most importantly, with myself. 💙 What about you?
