I was like any other kid who loved basketball growing up - playing for various teams, shooting hoops in the driveway every night, recording NCAA games to analyze and learn from the best, and being glued to the TV for every single NBA Finals game. I even found myself in the same room as those NBA superstars I watched on TV working as a Atlanta Hawks ballboy in high school. Three seasons in the Hawks locker room only accelerated my imagination of playing in the NBA. “Be like Mike” was a common saying in my youth. My head turning no look passes and equally dangerous three point shot allowed me to start a team at RISD where I was accelerating my life in design and entrepreneurship. Little did I know that my creative journey would eventually lead to my dream coming true today. If you were to tell my 12-year-old self that I’d one day get to the NBA...as part of one of the most innovative partnership groups in the league ...I would’ve said you were crazy. I am thrilled to continue my love for the game as a stakeholder in the San Antonio @Spurs - a team with a prestigious legacy and one that does as much off the court as they do on it. So here’s to achieving your wildest dreams in whatever form they might appear.
