hi friends, quick shoulder/life update: after finally receiving my MRI results that showed a SLAP tear in my right shoulder, i met with a surgeon who has said i’ll need to be getting surgery asap. he has me scheduled for january 5th, with a recovery period of anywhere from 3-6 months, but he did give me the OK to play drums until surgery time. with that said i have some good and bad news... the good news is that i’ll be able to play the jingle ball tour with @jax this december 🙌🏼 BUT the bad news is i will no longer be able to join @lights for her PEP tour in canada jan/feb of next year which absolutely breaks my heart 😭 as much as i’m bummed at the timing of this all, i’m happy to have answers and to hopefully get back to drumming pain-free sooner than later 🤞🏼
