😎🍁Yes, summer is almost over, and if you took a break from your retinol/retinoid, here is how to restart: 1. If you have SENSITIVE SKIN- start with an OTC retinol, such as @aveneusa RetrinAL. This is one of my new favorites as it is formulated for sensitive skin. There are many other great ones on the market, which I have talked about before...introducing this one to you as it is newer and you may not know about it, gentle and hard to go wrong with Avene! I LOVE their new serum formulated with BAKUCHIOL, HA and niacinamide, made for super sensitive skin and SAFE in pregnancy. 2. If you are an experienced retinoid-er (just made that word up), but took a break during the summer, restart slowly- 2x week for 2 weeks, then 3x week for 2 weeks, and slowly work up to nightly as tolerated.
