is shein becoming more sustainable as they’re producing 50-100 pieces per design? 🤔
Fast fashion brands are built off trends and micro trends🥲
Shein said they are reducing the amount of garments made to be more sustainable to 50-100 per design ... BUT that is still 35,000 garments (minimum) to 100,000 garments produced EVERY BLIMMING DAY as they release 1k-2k new items a day😭
so yeah, trends are really causing havoc when it comes to the sustainable fashion industry 🥵
So instead, if you do like a certain trend ( I know I do love some current trends) try to💗:
- Buy them second hand
- See if you own then already
- Make sure the items go with your current wardrobe
what are your thoughts on trends let me know in the comments before!
and save this post so you can come back for the handy tips in the future😌
